Ambition
I would like to work my way to management level but I do enjoy working with tools. I couldn’t
sit behind a desk all day so maybe I’ll set up my own business one day – who knows.
What made you get involved in competitions?
To compare myself and my current skills with other people of the same age and to find out how
good I am at what I do every day. I also like the challenge in competing against other people.
What does this experience mean to you?
To learn new skills, work under extreme pressure, push myself to the limit and out of my
comfort zone.
Personal achievements
I represented the UK at EuroSkills 2008 in Rotterdam in Automobile Technology.
Something we didn’t know about Dean
I enjoy cooking and get good compliments about it too.
