What made you get involved in competitions?
I was entered through college and followed through each heat until I reached the Nationals.

What does this experience mean to you?
Representing your country means being the best of the best. Its great meeting and being in a team of competitors that is all in the same boat.

Personal achievements
- Working for my college only a year after leaving
- City & Guilds medal of excellence in furniture making
- Representing London in gymnastics at the age of 9

Something we didn’t know about Luke
- I am very sporty and enjoy wakeboarding, football, gymnastics
- I've restored a 1970 mini clubman 1275 GT
