Education and Skills: A Core Activity for UK Skills
A key ingredient in the UK Skills’ mission is to help raise the performance of the whole education and skills system in the UK.
UK Skills’ values, expertise and practical activity demonstrate its capacity to engage with learners, their teachers, trainers and their employers across the UK in order to:
- Raise aspirations for vocational education
- Stimulate educational innovation
- Provide role models of success through learning
- Give leadership in the development of new ‘world class’ standards in qualifications
The challenge now is to ensure than no-one is left out.
That is why UK Skills has a programme of educational initiatives and a progressive agenda for
action which can benefit the whole education and skills system in the UK.
