What is the UK WorldSkills, Alumni?

The UK WorldSkills, Alumni is an exclusive membership club for all past UK competitors who have taken part in a WorldSkills Competition.

What are the benefits of being a member?

As a member of the UK WorldSkills, Alumni you will have the opportunity to build on your relationship with UK Skills. Whether you are interested in continuing your professional development by becoming an Assistant Training Manager, would like information on international exchange programmes or just want the chance to meet up with your former team mates at UK WorldSkills, Alumni events, there are many benefits of being a member.

Who is eligible to join? / How do I join?

All UK competitors who have taken part in a WorldSkills competition automatically become members of the UK WorldSkills, Alumni.

How much will it cost me?

Nothing, membership is free. The WorldSkills, UK Alumni are expected to be volunteers and are not paid or compensated for loss of earnings. Only essential expenses are paid.

How can I get involved in supporting UK Skills Activities?

There are a variety of ways to support UK Skills in its work promoting vocational education and learning. For more information, please visit the Alumni Programme Section.

Are there any events for the UK WorldSkills Alumni?

We aim to provide at least one event a year for members of the UK WorldSkills, Alumni. Details of all events will be available on the website and sent out to members in advance.
