WorldSkills Pastry Chef Will Torrent wins 'Young Chef of the Year'
Talented Pastry Chef Will Torrent, who works for Bachmann's Patisserie in Thames Ditton, was awarded 'Young Chef of the Year' by the Craft Guild of Chef's. The glittering award ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel on London's Park Lane on the 1 June, saw 13 chefs receive an award, including Celebrity Chef Heston Blumenthal.

Joe Massie, 21, from Huyton, Liverpool, who works at Fishlocks Florist and is training for WorldSkills Calgary 2009, has today been awarded the title ‘RHS Young Chelsea Florist of the Year’ at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
